This is a Pro/Open event sanctioned by the Cowboys Professional Rodeo Assn. (CPRA), and sponsored by Oldham-Cummings Post 6441, Veterans of Foreign Wars, in Wimberley, Texas. Admission and parking proceeds are considered a donation to Post 6441 and used to support a variety of Veterans and Community programs and activities. The Rodeo Producer is Mr. Bo Davis of DVS Productions from Gonzales, Texas, and the stock contractor is the Cadillac Rodeo Company

Gates open at 5:30. 1st Mutton Bustin' at 7:00 Rodeo begins at 8 p.m. ï‚·

Mutton Bustin' registration at Merkin Hall at 6:00 p.m. The cost is $30 per ride; 60lb. max rider weight. Riders compete for the Ellen Allen Memorial Rodeo Buckles (parents please enforce weight limits so it is fair for all including the sheep) ï‚· 2nd Mutton Bustin' event midway in Rodeo ï‚·

2 youth calf scramble events nightly. One for ages 7-12 and another for ages 13-17. ï‚·

Adult calf scramble nightly for ages 16 and up. (prizes awarded to be age appropriate.)

Fireworks nightly at the end of the show (weather conditions permitting) ï‚·

Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame freestyle bull-fighter, clown and barrel man Leon Coffee will be featured at each event. ï‚·

Nightly performances by the Lone Star Cowgirls, a rodeo precision riding team, known for their beautiful painted horses, sparkling red white & blue costumes, and their heart warming tribute to the United States Armed Forces. ï‚·

Rodeo Events include: ​​bull riding, bareback & saddle bronc riding, steer wrestling, tie down calf roping, team roping, women’s breakaway roping, and women’s barrel racing.​

Tickets at the Gate: Adults - $25; Children 4- 12 $15. Children 3 & under FREE ï‚· In person Advanced Tickets can be purchased at the VFW Main Hall located at 401 Jacobs Well Rd. (CR182) on June 30th from 2-5 pm & July 1 , from 3pm to 6 p.m. Advance ticket prices are Adults-$20; Children 4 – 12; $10. Children 3 & under FREE. ï‚· Cash, check, or major credit cards will be accepted. A 3% service charge will be added for all credit card and debit card purchases.ï‚· Limited box seat tickets may be available for $75 in person on advanced ticket days only. General admission parking is included with adult ticket purchase per vehicle. ï‚· Food and other vendors will be located on the grounds. ï‚· Beer will be sold at the Rodeo but BYOB is permitted.
